Aaron Paul
Collins
Feb 24, 1954 — Oct 9, 2020
Port Saint Lucie
The church, friends, and family worldwide are mourning the loss of an incredible and dynamic man of Christ- Rev. Aaron Paul Collins, affectionately known as Father Paul. He was a passionate priest, biblical scholar, teacher, gardener, cook and most importantly a generous husband and father.
Father Paul, son of Rev. Abraham Aaron and Mary Aaron, was born on February 24th 1954 in India and passed away on October 9th, 2020 in Port St. Lucie, Florida, USA. Father Paul suffered a massive cardiac arrest.
Father Paul graduated from Madras University with a Bachelor of Science degree in zoology, botany, & chemistry. He received his Bachelor of Divinity in Theology from Union Biblical Seminary and Masters of Theology from the United Theological Seminary. As a new testament professor at the Union Biblical Seminary, he had the privilege of being part of the educational journey of hundreds of church ministers and missionaries.
Father Paul's calling and purpose on earth can be best described in his words: "I am called by the Lord of the Church to be a shepherd in the body of Christ to teach, preach, serve, and empower His people for His purposes. I am committed to care and call God's diverse people for a life together in the life freedom and redemption that is in Christ Jesus." Father Paul indeed fulfilled his calling and purpose, and made a significant impact worldwide for the Kingdom of God. He served God's people in multiple churches both in India and the United States including in Kentucky, Ohio, and Florida. We are better and stronger because of his service, love, and ministry.
Many will cherish his fond memories of Father Paul including his loving wife, Anita Collins, and three children-Jennifer Shalini Collins, Andrew Collins, and Mary Collins, and his siblings in India.
