IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Aaron A.
Desale
July 27, 1927 – July 5, 2021
A tribute to one of the Great Generation...
Aaron A. DeSale passed away in his sleep today July 5,2021 just 22 days before his 100 birthdays. He was part of that generation that lived during this country's great depression and World War II. In those 99 plus years, he saw changes both good and bad take place and lived thru them all. Arron was a son, a brother and Husband to his wife Lillian for over 50 years. He served his country in the US Navy during the great war and later became a father to his daughter Barbara and son Jimmy. As life progressed Aaron became a grandfather to five grandchildren and one great daughter. Like many of that generation his life was greatly affected by the hardships of the 1930s. As a blue color guy with limited opportunities, he often worked 2 or 3 jobs to make ends meet. By doing he accomplished more than most in his lifetime always striving to fulfill his dreams. He was competitive, frugal and at the same time always available to help his family. He enjoyed his accomplishments and had sorrow when he lost his wife to cancer and later his son to the same disease. He endured these loses with quiet grace. He was a man at times with a gruff exterior, but it hid a man who loved in his own way.
When we lose someone like Aaron, we lose a part of a distant culture that strived to make it and sacrificed to provide a better life for himself and his family. That part of our culture is fading by the day.
So, we have lost Aaron to eternity. From dust to dust. What is left are our memories of our relationship
to the one who we lost. The grief is sometimes great but with Gods Grace we move on. never to forget the good examples we have learned from those who have gone before us.
