Obituary of Adam Steckler

Adam I. Steckler, 49, of Port St. Lucie, passed away January 22, 2011 at Lawnwood Medical Center in Ft. Pierce. He was born in Bayside, Queens, NY. He spent his childhood in New York, and graduated from Benjamin N. Cardozo High School in Bayside in 1979. He moved to Broward County, Florida following his graduation and moved to Port St. Lucie in 2003. He was a Customer Service Trainer in Boca Raton. Adam also was a DJ and Karaoke entertainer.

He is survived by his wife of 7 ½ years, Jennifer Steckler of Port St. Lucie; sons, Billy Currier, Jesse Steckler, Nicholas Currier and Elijah Steckler all of Port St. Lucie; brother, Darryl Steckler of NY and sister, Shari Steckler of NY. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Elly Steckler.

Visitation: 12:30 - 2:00PM, Sunday, January 30, 2011 at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel.

Service: 2:00PM, Sunday immediately following the visitation in the chapel.

Interment will be private in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
