Obituary of Adele Gitter
Adele Gitter, 84, of Palm City, Florida, died August 16, 2011, at her home.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was a resident of Palm City for 26 years coming from Brooklyn.
She was an educational coordinator, arranging seminars for the medical staff at Sloan-Kettering Hospital in New York City. She was a member of the Martin County Chapter of Hadassah.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph J. "Jerry" Gitter; sons, Ken Gitter of Blaine, Washington and Stuart Gitter of Staten Island, New York; a sister, Bea Schiff of Delray Beach, Florida; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
SERVICES: Visitation will from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, with a service at 1:00 PM on August 19, 2011 at the Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
