Albert Huwe, 97, of Jensen Beach, passed away February 19, 2020 at Brookdale Senior Living.  He was born in Brooklyn, NY, and had been a resident of Florida for 41 years, having relocated from Port Monmouth, NJ.  Before retirement he was a pipefitter in the United States Navy, and he worked for Armellini when he moved to Florida.  He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Stuart. Albert was a member of the VFW Post 1003 and the Elks Lodge #1870.

He is survived by his daughter, Alyce Schackmann and her husband Alan of Hobe Sound; 5 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, June Huwe in 2013 and daughters, Linda Svercauski and Karen Wheelis and 2 brothers and 2 sisters.
