Aleksandra McKenna, 85 of West Palm Beach passed peacefully on August 6, 2021.  She was born in Poland to Michael and Marta Taran on February 27, 1936. Aleksandra left Poland May 3, 1961 and arrived in New York on May 5, 1961 to create a better life for her family.

Aleksandra was strong and independent. She was loving and caring. She enjoyed all things Polish and spending time with her family and friends. Her heritage was very important to her and she enjoyed many trips back to Poland. She made the best homemade pierogies.

Aleksandra was preceded in death by her husband Charlie McKenna, her daughter Grace Ciani and her son Jerry Jaworski. She is survived and remembered by her daughter Tanya George, her grandchildren: Alison, Lisa, Justin, Rachel and 5 great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Monday, August 16, 2021 at 1pm at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
