It is with great sadness that we announce that Alfred S. Hess Sr. , 87, of Hobe Sound, Florida passed away peacefully  surrounded by his children.

Al is survived by his daughters Brenda, Joyce, and son Alfred Jr.. and their spouses. He also leaves behind 5 Grandchildren and 8 Great-Grandchildren. Pappa Al will be dearly missed.

Al was a proud Navy corpsman. He was so proud that his grandson, Jacob, pursued a career in the Navy as a Navy Fighter Pilot! Al's family was his pride and joy!

Al retired from Pratt & Whitney in Palm Beach, as a maintenance supervisor, after 28 years. After retirement from Pratt & Whitney, he was a volunteered at Martin Memorial South in the E.R. department for 15 years. Al's passion and joy was golfing! He enjoyed golfing with family and friends whenever he had the opportunity. The last two years of his life he resided at The Cabana at Jensen Dunes in Jensen Beach, where he had many friends.

Service will be held Friday November 15th at Forest Hills Funeral Home in Palm City. Family will receive visitors from 10am - 11:30 with a service and burial immediately following.
