Obituary of Amelia 'Lee Blanchard
Amelia Lee Blanchard, 85, died Friday, March 30, 2007 at her home.
Born in Paterson, NJ, she had resided in North Haledon and Emerson, NJ before moving to Palm City in 2001.
Prior to retirement she was owner of a fur shop in Glen Rock, NJ.
She was an avid golfer and a member of North Jersey Golf Club in Wayne, NJ; High Mountain Golf Club in Franklin Lakes, NJ; and the Hackensack Golf Club in Oradell, NJ. She was the ladies club champion at each of these.
She was a resident of Martin Downs and a member of the Martin Downs Ladies Group.
She was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Palm City.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years, William Bill Blanchard of Palm City; step-son, William Blanchard of Westwood, NJ; step-daughter, Susan Blanchard of Tomkins Cove, NY; brothers, Michael Mokis of Hollywood, FL; Joseph Mokis and his wife, Marie, of Myrtle Beach, SC; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph Pastore; brothers, John and Stephen Mokis.
Calling hours will be held 4 PM to 7 PM, Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at Forest Hills Funeral Home in Palm City with a Vigil Service at 7 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM, Wednesday, April 4, 2007 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.
