Obituary of Amorosa Lopes

AMOROSA P. LOPES, age 87, of Port St. Lucie, FL died on Saturday, February 7, 2009 at the Port St. Lucie Hospice House. She was born in Portugal and came to this area in 1990 from Linden, NJ. Mrs. Lopes was of catholic faith and was an avid gardener and enjoyed working in and around her home.

Survivors include her Husband of 64 years, Henry Lopes of Port St. Lucie. FL, two sons; Daniel and Roy (Lisa) Lopes both of Linden, NJ. Also surviving are three grandsons; Daniel Jr., Michael and Gregory Lopes of NJ.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1454 Mapp Road, Palm City, FL. Entombment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Forest Hills Funeral Homes-Palm City Chapel.
