Obituary of Anargiros Pappas

Anargiros Pappas passed on to our Lord, November 16, 2013. He was born in Vassara, Sparta, Greece and came to the United States when he became 17 years old. He is survived by his loving wife, Connie; his daughter, Stephanie; son, Nicholas; brother, John Pappas. He had five grandchildren and five great grandchildren and he was so very proud of all of them.

He made his living as a restaurateur first in Massachusetts and then in New Hampshire. He lived in Massachusetts most of their married life and spent four years in New Hampshire before moving to Florida in 1987. He was a faithful member of the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church where he volunteered his time and efforts cooking for the annual festival and various dinners.

He greatly loved boating and fishing and bringing fresh fish to his home. He enjoyed the companionship of his friends joining him on his boat.

He lived in Port St. Lucie since 2000, coming from Rocky Point, Port Salerno. He will be extremely missed by his family.

Visitation will be held at the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City Chapel and the hours are 4:00PM to 6:00PM on Thursday, November 21st and his Funeral Service will be held Friday, November 22nd at  St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Ft. Pierce, FL.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 2424 S 25th St., Fort Pierce, FL 34981.
