Angel Luis Bracero, Sr. was born in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico on October 14, 1937 to Jose Luis & Rosa Bracero.  He is survived by his wife, Blanca Iris and his 4 children, Maribel, Sonia, Norma and Angel Jr; 2 sons in laws, 1 daughter in law, 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Angel moved to New York City when he was about 15 years old and worked hard to make a life for himself and his family.  He loved his mother.  He met Blanca in 1958 and they were married in 1960.  They were together 61 years and Blanca was by his side when he went into eternity in his sleep.

Angel was a unique character with an interesting sense of humor.  He was a great husband, father, provider, worker, friend, and domino player.  He lived to play dominoes.  He had sharp mathematical mind and used it to know the exact domino pieces you had in your hand.  All who knew him enjoyed his sense of humor.  He adored his wife and showered her with gifts all the time.  He provided his family with the best opportunities to get ahead in their lives.

He was an amateur inventor and collector of things.  He loved his black cars especially Buick's.  He was a proud of his Puerto Rican heritage was a proud American.  He loved Trump!  In the later part of his life, his best friend was his dog Max.  He did practically everything with Max.  Angel liked good and expensive things.  He loved his "ranchera" music and his Sunday morning Christian radio programs.  He loved El Faro City Church and made sure his Lighthouse sport bottle was full of sangria to get him through the day.

His jokes were interesting and hilarious.  Most of them were riddles that once you figured them out, it was a good laugh.  His laughter was infectious.

It will be impossible to replace him in our lives.  Rest in peace Luis, dad, tio, grandpa and friend…descanza en paz.
