Obituary of Angelo Litterio
Angelo Charles Litterio, 96, of Palm City, Florida, died June 21, 2010 at Hospice of the Treasure Coast, Stuart, Florida.
Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, he lived in Palm City for 13 years coming from Sebring and Miami, Florida.
Before retiring he was an insurance agent with Prudential Insurance Company for 28 years. He also was a musician, playing the saxophone and clarinet and arranged music for big bands.
He was a Catholic, a Third Degree member of the Knights of Columbus and was a member, of the BPO Elks lodge in Sebring. He was also a member of the Musicians' Union Local 655 in Miami and Local 264 in Patterson, New Jersey.
Survivors include a son, Robert Francis Litterio and a daughter, Marianne Litterio Brown both of Palm City and 2 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Teresa Litterio and Sara Gillespie Litterio; a brother Nick Litterio and a sister Mary Litterio Mangels.
Services and inurnment will be private at a later date in Miami.
