Ann Ardell Raab, of Palm City was called home by her Lord on July 20, 2018.  Born in Brooklyn, NY, Ann spent over half her life there before retiring to Florida.  She was a proud graduate of the nursing program at Adelphi University and spent 39 years as a nurse for Nassau County.  She retired and moved to Florida where she not only worked "part time" for Martin Health but, together with Bill, raised beef cattle on their farm.

She was involved in a host of activities within her church and retired nurses groups.  Ann never backed away from any challenge and was always one of the first to volunteer her help or knowledge.

Ann is predeceased by her parents, Hile and Christina Sickmon and her beloved husband, Bill.  She is survived by her children, Jean (Kirk) Tranka of Ballston Spa, NY, James (Karen) of Fabius, NY, Bill (Maureen) of Palm City and Larry and Theresa Huber of Palm City; grandchildren, Robert (Mackenzie), Christina (Rob), William, Larry Jr. and Logan and four great grandchildren, as well as a host of cherished friends, including Mary Mangels.

Memorial Service at Palm City Presbyterian Church, Saturday, July 28 at 2:00 PM.  Memorial Contributions may be made to the church or a charity of choice.
