Ann J. Sayre, (96), of Palm City, Florida died peacefully Saturday evening, December 5, 2020.

Ann was the loving wife of Van V. Sayre for forty-five years. And devoted stepmother to: Linda Sayre Griffith of Allendale, New Jersey; Wendy Sayre Kane of Charleston, South Carolina and Quonochontaug, Rhode Island; and James V. V. Sayre of Manasquan, New Jersey; loving grandmother to ten grandchildren; and great-grandmother to Reid Hayes Swiggett; loving aunt to Ann and Jack Sullivan of Manchester, New Jersey.

Ann enjoyed a wonderful and successful career at both International Flavors and Fragrances, Inc. and CBS News in New York City. In her leisure time, Ann was an avid reader, enjoyed the game of mahjong,   and spending time in Amagansett, New York. Time spent with her loving husband Van and her adored cat Reesie were among her happiest moments.

A graveside/crypt side service will be held Friday December 11th at 11:00 AM at Forest Hills Memorial Park Mausoleum (2001 S.W. Murphy Road; Palm City, Florida 34990).

In lieu of flowers the family has requested contributions be made to the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast, 4100 S.W. Leighton Farm Avenue, Palm City, Florida 34990
