Obituary of Anna Rivera

Anna E. Rivera, age 63, resident of Port St. Lucie, FL died on Thursday, October 29, 2008 in Stuart, FL. Ms. Rivera was born on June 8, 1945 in Manhattan, NY to Ramon and Irma Encarnacion. She was a graduate of Shelby State Community College in Memphis, TN, where she attained her Associates Degree in Nursing. Ms. Rivera was a devoted and admired Registered Nurse at Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, FL since 1982. She came to Port St. Lucie, FL in 2004 where she was currently a Registered Nurse for the St. Lucie County Health Department.

Ms. Rivera was of Catholic faith and attended Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Palm City, FL with her family. She truly loved cooking for her family, especially the grandchildren and enjoyed reading, gardening and shopping.

Survivors include her daughter, Michele (Ricardo) Albertini of Palm City, FL, her son, Paul (Kimberly) Rivera of Memphis, TN, five grandchildren; Liz and Alex Albertini, Matt, Reese and Drew Rivera and her sister, Loli (Paul) Stams of Palmyra, VA.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, November 3, 2008 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1454 Mapp Road, Palm City FL. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian St., Stuart, FL 34997.An inurnment will take place at a later date at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
