Anne Wight Ritchards, 86, of Honor, MI., passed away peacefully July 12, 2022 at VITAS Hospice in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Anne was born on January 18, 1936 in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada to her parents Thomas and Annie MacLean. Anne was an only child.

Anne was proceeded in death by her parents, her first husband, Terry Mark, her husband James Ritchards and her granddaughter, Cassandra Lauren Thomas-Jester.

Anne was a very active community member of Benzie County, MI. A member of St. Andrew's church, the Rotary Club, Chamber of Commerce and the Coho Festival to name a few. Anne volunteered endless hours to her beloved community whenever she could or whenever was asked. Anne was a fierce business woman. Owning four businesses in Beulah over the years. She was most proud of and well recognized for the annual Beulah Art Fair, which she organized and ran for over 50 years. This was a very proud accomplishment for her and enjoyed all the artists she connected with as she was one herself.

Anne took so much pride in her lake home on Little Platte Lake in Honor, MI., where she lived for nearly 60 years. She looked forward to spring time most, when she could fix up her flower garden and both the lake side and road sides of the home to make sure no matter by boat or car you could tell she took pride in her home. This home was very special to us and will be sadly missed with fond memories.

Anne also was a beloved life long Red Wings fan. She loved her hockey. And was very knowledgeable on the subject. She was also an avid collector of memorabilia.

Anne is survived by her daughters; Terri-Anne Mark-Thomas (Jon), Tammi Gray Mark, Kathryn Richards and Diane Dees.

9 Grandchildren; Dan Culp ll, Chris Thomas,JonAshley Thomas and Dru Mark-Wilson, Tracy Tolles (Heath), Damon Cooper (Samantha), Nathan Dees (Maggie), Leah Dees and Nicole Maas (Jeff)

7 Great-great Grandchildren;

Steven and Kameron Jester, Jordan and Avery Thomas, Gavin and Garret Tolles and Neil Dees.

Cremation has taken place at Forest Hills Funeral Home in Palm City, Florida. Memorial is being looked at for a later date.
