Anthony Salvatore Martone

Anthony Martone ( Tony ) , 79 of Stuart , Florida and Forked River , New Jersey passed away peacefully at home on November 21 , 2021 while in prayer with his esteemed nephew Dr . Frank Turek in the company of his family .

Anthony was born in Newark , NJ on June 14th , 1942 to the late Joseph and Felicia Martone . He was predeceased by this brothers Joseph and Frank . He leaves his sisters and brothers , Rose Marie Turek , James Martone , John Martone and Florence Spagnola Martone . He was the loving and devoted husband of Lorraine Vitale Martone whom which he married on November 27 , 1965 . They initially resided in Hillside , New Jersey . W ith the help of family and friends , Anthony built a home in Forked River , New Jerse y , where they would raise their 3 children . Anthony will be remembered as devoted and loving father to his children and their spouses , Maria Martone Lowery and spouse Paul Lowery , Christine Martone Langer , Linda Martone Pasqua and Jeff Pasqua and Peter Triano and Elaine Castaldi Triano .

Anthony attended Boys Vocational School in Newark , New Jersey and studied auto mechanics . He worked for the Essex County Park Commission before becoming a truck driver for Galsworthy Inc . then later Friedman ' s Express . Upon company closure , he went on to work traveling the country as a truck driver for Event Solutions International with his son in law Jeff Pasqua , Prior to his retirement , he worked for Lowes . After retiring , Anthony dedicated his life to being a full time grandfather with his wife Lorraine by his side .

He enjoyed hunting with the Kirk crew . He enjoyed fishing and crabbing with his children , nieces , nephews and his grandchildren .

He will be missed by his grandchildren : Trevor Sgro , Katelyn Triano , Emma Triano , Kyra Lowery , Gabriella Pasqua , Reece Lowery , Danielle Pasqua and Vanessa Langer . He leaves behind his nieces and nephews and their children : Dr Frank and Stephanie Turek , Gina and Frank Ricciardi , Suzanne and James Foglio , James and Cathy Martone , Jackie and Kurt Krazewski , John and Tina Martone and Nicole and Matthew Filllipone . He leaves behind his cousins , the Kirk boys and their families in New Jersey as well as his Florida cousins , Louis Martone , Sam Martone and Bobby and Doreen Martone and their families . He proudly was the honorary grandpop of Bridget and Erin Little . He had a life long best friend Jack Triano and his wife Fran and their families that will miss him dearly .

Anthony will be remembered as the man that considered family the most important thing in life . He was always ready and willing to lend a hand when called upon without hesitation . His loyalty , generosity , sense of humor , sincerity , kindness , wisdom and warmth will be missed . H e celebrated life through the achievements of his family and friends . He enjoyed cheering for his family at soccer games , swim meets , theater productions and musical venues . He loved to dance . He often boasted that his one of his proudest accomplishments was winning a dance contest .

The family is requesting in lieu of flowers , donations be made to a favorite charity or St . Judes Save the Children or c rossex amined . org A virtual service will take place on December , 4 , 2021 at 1 pm via zoom presided over by his nephew Dr Frank Turek .
