Obituary of Anthony Metzler
Anthony Walden Metzler (Andy) age 95 of Port St. Lucie, died August 9, 2015 at Salerno Bay of Port Salerno.
He was born in Brooklyn, NY on May 24, 1920 and lived in Port St. Lucie since 1986 coming from Queens, NY.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in WWII. He worked for Silver Cup Bakeries in NY as a Baker, now Silver Cup Studios.
Survivors include his daughter, Carol McDonnold and her husband Robert of Port St. Lucie; sons, Donald Metzler of Port St. Lucie and Gary Metzler of Port St. Lucie; and 4 grandchildren.
Visitation: 8:30AM - 9:30AM, Friday, August 14, 2015 at Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City Chapel.
A funeral service will follow immediately in the Chapel.
Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park with Military Honors by the U.S. Army.
