Obituary of Armando DelPrete
Armando DelPrete, 89, of Brooklyn, NY and Palm City, passed away February 24, 2010 in Brooklyn. He was born in Trenton, NJ and had been a winter resident of Palm City for 20 years.
During World War II he served in the Italian Navy.
Before retirement he owned a painting company. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Brooklyn and had attended Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Palm City
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Maria Del Prete of Brooklyn, NY; a daughter Carmela Balzana of Port St. Lucie; sons, Michael Del Prete of Brooklyn, NY, Joseph Del Prete of Palm City, Pasquale Del Prete of Brooklyn, NY, John Del Prete of Palm City and Anthony Del Prete of Staten Island, NY; sisters, Yolanda Serto and Italia Perrone both of Naples, Italy and a brother, Mario DelPrete of Naples, Italy; 13 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren
He was preceded in death by sisters Giovanna Cataldi and Anna Perrone and a brother Alexander Del Prete.
SERVICES: Visitation will be Wednesday, March 3, 2010 from 8:30 to 9:30AM at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00AM on Wednesday at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Palm City. Entombment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
