Obituary of Arnold Hickey

Arnold M. Hickey, 72, of Stuart, Florida died, February 12, 2015.

Born in Chattanooga, TN, he had been a resident of Stuart for over 30 years coming from Miami. He came to Florida from Tennessee.

Before retiring he was the owner/operator of ARELCO, an electrical contracting company in Port St. Lucie. He also had worked as an electrician with the Martin County School Board and had been an electrician at the Kennedy Space Center.

He was a talented guitarist and throughout his lifetime played with several bands on the Treasure Coast. He also enjoyed building and flying remote control planes.

Survivors include his son, Danny Bryan and his wife Melody of Vero Beach; his daughter, Joni Robertson and her husband Bill of Moscow, TN; his brother, Wayne Hickey of Palm City, FL and 3 grandchildren, Ryan Robertson, Danielle Bryan and Evan Bryan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John C. Hickey and Pansy Bowe.

There will be a service at 7:00 PM on Friday, February 13, 2015 at the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City with Chaplain Richard Whipple of the VNA Hospice, Vero Beach officiating. Interment will be private in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
