Obituary of Arthur Baptiste

Arthur Baptiste was born in Gasparillo, Trinidad on April 3rd 1924 to Clayton and Angeline Mable Baptiste. He departed this life on August 26, 2015.

He was trained as an electrical engineer in Trinidad and furthered his education in England. His interests include helping others by being involved in many charitable organizations, dancing and singing: a love of people and places. He was very active in the church community. A past Grand Knight at Holy Family Knights of Columbus; member of the Color Corp. of St. Francis of Assisi; past president of the Legions of Mary Holy Family/. He had a weekly presence at Horizon Bay assisted living where he led the rosary and singing. He is mourned by his wife Teresa Jean, Sister Sylvia, Brothers Archibald, Mathew and Reid, Sons Lenville, Romilly, Edison and Horace. Several grandchildren, nephews, nieces and numerous relatives and friends in New York, New Jersey, Baltimore Trinidad, Grenada and Port St. Lucie.

The viewing will be at Forest Hills Funeral Home at 2001 SW Murphy Road, Palm City on Wednesday September 2nd from 5:30-7:30 pm. Funeral services on Thursday September 3rd at 10:00 am Holy Family Catholic Church.
