Obituary of Arthur Dustin

Arthur R. Dustin, 81, of Indiantown, Florida, died November 21, 2010 at the Treasure Coast Hospice, Fort Pierce, Florida.

Born in Boston, Massachusetts, he had been a resident of the Indiantown for the 51 years coming from Miami.

During the Korean War, he served in the US Navy

Before retiring he was an aeronautical engineer with Pratt-Whitney in West Palm Beach. He was the crew chief on the construction of the SR70 "Blackbird". He was a member of the Family Worship Center, Indiantown.

Survivors include daughters, Dorothea "Doffy" Queen of Indiantown, Sparkle J. Vaughan of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Joy M. Worley of Okeechobee, Florida; a son David A. Dustin of Port St. Lucie; a sister Dottie Holland of West Palm Beach, Florida; brothers, Bruce Dustin of Fort Myers, Florida, Mark Dustin, Billy Dustin, Freddie Dustin and Tommy Dustin, all of Massachusetts; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Lusada "Tootie" Dustin in 2002 and 2 sisters.

SERVICES: There will be a funeral service at 2:00 PM on November 27, 2010 Forest Hills Funeral Homes Palm City Chapel. Interment will follow, with military honors provided by the US Navy in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
