Obituary of Arthur Lannon
Arthur Lannon, 91 of Brennity at Tradition, Port St. Lucie, FL passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at the Treasure Coast Hospice, Fort Pierce, FL.
Born in Johnston, Rhode Island he had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for 4 years coming from Palm City, where he lived for 20 years. He moved to Florida from Dublin, Ohio of 10 years coming there from Roslyn Heights, New York, where he resided for 27 years.
During the World War II he served in the U.S. Navy as an aviation radioman.
Before retiring he was a project manager for AEP, American Electric Power.
Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Elizabeth Ann Lannon of Port St. Lucie; daughters, Carol Megow of Berwyn, PA and Chris Maggiore of Vero Beach, FL; three grandchildren, Jason Megow and his wife Carleen of Haverstown, PA, Alexis Megow Tucker and her husband Tim of St. George, UT and Raymond Maggiore of Switzerland; great grandchildren, Liam and Reagan Megow. He is preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Lannon and a sister Olive Sessa.
There will be a memorial gathering at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 8, 2013 at the Forest Hills Funeral Homes Palm City Chapel. Inurnment will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City. There will be military honors provided by the US Navy.
