Obituary of Arthur Schmeling
Arthur P. Schmeling, Jr, 77, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, died March 12, 2010 at Hospice of the Palm Beaches, West Palm Beach, Florida.
Mr. Schmeling was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and lived in Port St. Lucie for 40 years.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of the Later Day Saints. He worked for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft as a Financial Analysis and served in the US Navy aboard the USS Furse during the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years Olive M. Schmeling of Port St. Lucie; Daughters Dotti Merrigan and Karen Schmeling both of Santa Fe, NM, son David Schmeling of Jensen Beach, FL and 3 grandchildren.
SERVICES: will be held at Forest Hills Funeral Home - Palm City Chapel on Monday, March 15, 2010 at 10:00am with interment to follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park.
