Obituary of Assunta Azzaro

Assunta Azzaro, 87, of Port St. Lucie, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2015 at her home.

Born in Richmond Hill, Queens, New York, she had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for 22 years coming from Richmond Hill.

She was a homemaker and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, Port St. Lucie.

Survivors include husband of 55 years, Frank Azzaro of Port St. Lucie; her sons, Vincent Azzaro and his wife Grace Ann of Monroe, NY and Stephen Azzaro and his wife Lind of Port St. Lucie; a sister Celeste Ventre of Howard Beach, NY and her grandchildren, Christina Azzaro, Monica Azzaro and Elizabeth Azzaro. She was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Favilla.

Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City, FL with a Vigil Prayer Service at 7:00 PM

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Friday, September 4, 2015 at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
