Barbara Frances Austin, 86, of Port St. Lucie, FL, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2016.

Born in Harrison, NY, she had been a resident of the Treasure Coast since 1970, coming from New York.

Prior to retiring she had been a baker with the Martin County School System. She was a long time member of the Stuart Doll Club and she was a Christian.

Survivors include her husband 65 of years, Robert S. Austin of Port St. Lucie, her children, Robert C.S. Austin and his wife Pegi of Port St. Lucie, Linda Austin Pond of Jensen Beach, FL and Gary Austin and his wife, Donna of Altoona, FL; her brother, George Authelet of Coventry, RI; her sister, Phyllis Pearson of Port St. Lucie; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Craig Allen Austin and four siblings.

There will be a visitation for 12:00 to 12:30 PM on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City, FL with a graveside service at 12:30 PM at the Forest Hill Memorial Park, Palm City, FL.
