Obituary of Barbara Wooster
Barbara F. Wooster, 76, died Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Martin Memorial Medical Center in Stuart.
Born in Bradford, PA on April 4, 1935, she was the daughter of William Nichols and Betty Denning. She moved to Palm City in 1969 from Deland, Florida with her late husband, N. Fred Wooster.
With her husband, Mrs. Wooster had co-owned and operated Wooster & Co. Lot and Land Clearing of Palm City and Wooster Tree Farm of Palm City. Her greatest interest and enjoyment in life was to love and be with her family.
She was a Methodist.
Survivors include daughters, Melinda "Lindi" Kirkhart (Edward) of Palm City; Lucinda "Cindy" Legg (John) of Palm City; Nancy Blum (Dutch) of Palm City; 6 grandchildren, Michael Blum, Kelli Blum, John Norman (Jennifer) Legg, Leslie Legg, Blake Kirkhart, and Fred Kirkhart and 6 great grandchildren, Gavin Kirkhart, Wesley Kirkhart, Parker Kirkhart, Braylen Kirkhart, Katie Legg, Wyatt Legg; sisters, Beverly Greene (Larry) and Betty Denning; and her beloved dog Scooter.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Norman Fred Wooster and sister, Bonnie Latin.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, 5:30 - 7:00PM at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel.
Funeral service will follow immediately at 7:00PM with Pastor Bruce Butler officiating.
