Obituary of Barry Scantland

Barry L. Scantland, 53, of Port St. Lucie, died at Martin Memorial Medical Center in Stuart. He was born in Hartsville,TN and had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for 18 years. He had been employed by Home Depot for 28 years, most recently in the Fort Pierce Store.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Sherry Scantland of Port St. Lucie; Parents, Arnold and Margaret Scantland of Lake Worth; Son, Barry Scantland of Port St. Lucie; daughter, Kari Scantland of Port St. Lucie; brothers, Gary Scantland of West Palm Beach and Kenneth Scantland; one granddaughter; and aunts & uncles . He was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Scantland.

Visitation: Monday, March 28, 2011, 11:30 - 1:30PM at Forest Hills Funeral Homes, Palm City Chapel.

Funeral Service: immediately following at 1:30PM in the Chapel.

Entombment will take place in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
