Bernadine "Dolores" Martin, 81, of Palm City, Florida passed away peacefully on Saturday September 4 ^th 2021.

Born October 5, 1939 in Throop, PA, daughter of the late Joseph Walter Yorkanis and Christine (Curran) Yorkanis, she was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Martin in 2021 and a brother, Bernard Yorkanis in 2019

Surviving are daughter Kathleen Martin; 2 sons and 2 daughters-in law, Michael and Patti Martin, Robert and Julie Martin; grandchildren, Michael, Christina ( Garrett), Laura, Bobby, Daniel and Kaleigh; 2 great-grandchildren; Oliver and Emma; a sister, Joan (Walt) Stevens; and many loving nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.

Dolores graduated Woodbridge High School in 1957 and Barbizon School of Modeling in 1958.

Dolores loved spending time with family and friends, traveling and playing tennis. She especially loved being a grandmother and was fortunate that her grandchildren lived near her. A cancer survivor of melanoma she was a care taker for both parents who re-located to Florida.

Along with her husband Mike they formed Envirotronics Inc., specializing in Industrial/Commercial Water Treatment System utilizing High Energy Magnetics and Ionization. Major installations included Walt Disney World Attractions.

Family and Friends will be received on September 28 2021 at 9:45 am at Forest Hills Funeral Home, 2001 SW Murphy Road, Palm City, FL 34990. A memorial mass will follow at 11:00 am at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1454 SW Mapp Road, Palm City, FL 34990. Interment will follow to Forest Hills Mausoleum. A luncheon in Dolores honor will follow at Monarch Country Club, 1801 SW Monarch Club Drive, Palm City, FL 34990.
