Bernice Covington, 93, of Indiantown, passed away December 30th, 2023, at her home in Indiantown.

She was born in Kingstree, SC, and grew up in Arcadia, FL. Bernice was a secretary for Indiantown Middle School and worked for the Martin County School District for 30 years.

She is survived by her Son in law, Carl Amerson, of Indiantown; Granddaughters Amanda Fines (Brian) of Orlando; Tammy Amerson of Stuart; Grandson Neil Amerson (Katina) of Palm City; and six Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Covington, and daughter, Wanda Amerson.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 8th, 10:00am at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Arcadia, FL. A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Indiantown.
