Betty Ruth Beasley, 78, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2026.

On May 31, 1969, Betty married the love of her life, Robert E. Beasley Sr. Together they built a life centered around family and raised two children, Robert Beasley Jr. (Nicole) and Robin Garland (Gene). Betty was a proud grandmother to Robert III, Emma, and Noelle, as well as Jake and Shay, and a loving great-grandmother to Jersey, Sire, and Bane. She is also survived by her sister, Joann Day (David), along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert.

Betty was a devoted military wife who proudly supported her husband throughout his 20-year military career, creating a loving home for her family wherever life took them. From the tumbleweeds of Texas to the pine trees of North Carolina, and countless places in between, she brought strength, warmth, and stability to every chapter of their journey.

After retirement, Betty and Robert traveled throughout the United States and Canada in their motorhome with their Jeep in tow. Together they spent their days exploring new places, fishing, reading books, and playing cards, while Betty kept a meticulous journal documenting the miles they traveled each day and the many places their adventures took them. No matter how far into Alaska or Canada they traveled, the two always found their way back to Florida to spend time with their grandchildren.

Per her final wishes, Betty will be laid to rest with Robert.

The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Treasure Coast Hospice for the compassionate care and kindness shown to both Betty and Robert during their journeys. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Betty’s memory to support their continued mission of caring for families in need.
