Bettye Jo (Holcomb) Aderholdt, age 85, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2026, in Stuart, Florida. She is predeceased by her beloved husband of 42 years, Roderick Aderholdt, her parents, Sherwood and Beulah (Brooks) Holcomb, and brother Guy Ronald Holcomb. She is survived by her son, Daryl Aderholdt, her daughter, Charlene Perrone and her husband, James; her two cherished granddaughters, Lissa Khoshbakhti and Brittany Perrone; and her 3 loving sisters, Cynthia Emmalee West, Delores Claudene Lambert and Patricia Earlene Smith.

Bettye grew up in Rome and Atlanta, GA, where she earned her X-ray license and worked at Grady Memorial Hospital. She met her husband while working there and moved to Stuart in 1960. She worked for Martin Memorial Hospital for years, eventually turning her time to the PTA at Jensen Beach Elementary and becoming President of the Junior Women’s Club of Stuart. While volunteering her time, she discovered her new love of travel. She became a travel agent for Jensen Beach Travel for many years, before opening her own agency, Premier Travel. She was fortunate to travel all over the world and experience all the wonders.

Bettye was a caring, selfless, loving mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, aunt and relative to many who cherished her and will miss her dearly. She would always offer her time and help to anyone that needed her, and that trait made Bettye who she was.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 7th, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 2655 Immanuel Drive, Palm City, Florida 34990

In lieu of flowers to the family, donations may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice or plant a memorial tree in memory of Bettye.
