Bienvenida Vazquez, 90, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, passed away on June 2, 2017 at her home.

Born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, she had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for over 30 years coming from Hempstead, Maryland.

She was a homemaker and had been a member of Trinity Methodist Church, Jensen Beach, Florida.

Survivors include her husband of 71 years, Rafael Vazquez-Ruiz of Port St. Lucie; her children, Jorge Vazquez and his wife Pamela of Elkton, Maryland, Margarita Vazquez and Carlos Vazquez and his wife Shirley M. all of Port St. Lucie; 7 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and 19 siblings. She was preceded in death by 5 siblings.

Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 PM on Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City, FL. The funeral service will be at 1:30 PM on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 in the funeral home chapel.
