Bingley Smith, 88, of Stuart, Florida, passed away on October 9, 2017.

Bing was born in Waukegan, Illinois, he came to Lake Worth, Florida over 35 years ago spending the last half of that time residing in Stuart, Florida.

His career starting as a linotype machinist, from Hotel ownership ending his career doing all phases of construction. Bing was an amazing man that could handle any job with perfection and expertise.

He was always there to help anyone who needed it. Anyone who met Bing never forgot him. His sense of humor and reputation as a stand up guy will never be forgotten. He loved to work but seemed to make time to play the slots when he could.

Survivors include his daughter Debra Maxwell, his son Patrick Smith, his grandchildren, Stacey Marshall & Shane Smith, his great granddaughter, Mia Marshall-King; his sister Virginia Jones & brother, Kenny Smith. He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy "Dolly" Smith in 2010.

Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:00 with a service starting at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 21, 2017, at the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City, FL. Entombment will follow in the Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.

There will be a after get together following the Entombment, the location will be annouced.
