Boggins Arthur Wilson, 79, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, died on March 11, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family.

Boggins was affectionally known as Arthur by his friends and family; he was born in Jamaica, WI, he came to the New York in 1970 where he lived with his wife Yvonne and children until he moved to Port St Lucie in 2002.

Before retiring he had been an Iron worker (Welder) and active member of the Local 580 Union.  He was also a member of the Port St. Lucie Cricket Club, and loved the outdoors, especially his gardening.  He was a fun loving individual with a great sense of humor, and was always willing to help those less fortunate.  Arthur Loved to travel with his beloved Yvonne.

He is Survived by his beloved wife Yvonne C. Wilson of 49 years of  Port St. Lucie, FL, daughters, Marvilee C. Smith-Archer and her husband Robert Archer of Mt. Vernon, NY, Mabel C. Smith-Duffus and her husband George Duffus  of Port St. Lucie, FL, Joy M. Wilson of Harlem, NY and Jean M. Wilson of Mt. Vernon, NY, Son Clifton Wilson and his wife Valerie Wilson of Port St Lucie, FL; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, Sisters Ermine Grant and Deta Williams, both of Toronto, Canada and Joyce Wilson of Woodford, England, Warren Wilson, of Mt Vernon, NY and a host of nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his brothers, Apti Wilson, Calvin Wilson and Beulah Wilson, and Pearline Wilson.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 30, 2018 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City, FL.  The funeral service will be on Saturday, March 31 at 11:00 am at the Central Baptist Church located at 202 SW Tulip Boulevard, Port St Lucie, FL 34953.  Entombment will follow immediately in the Forest Hills Memorial Park, Palm City.
