Obituary

Bruce John Starr age 60 passed away August 13, 2016.
He was born in West Palm Beach to the parents of Edward W. Starr, Sr.(deceased) and Theresa Lillian Starr.
He attended Forest Hill High School and graduated from the University of Florida with a Political Science Bachelor's degree.
Bruce married Virginia (Sheffield)Starr in 1981. They have two wonderful children Chase Alexander Starr and Chad Edward Starr.
Bruce was a caring and generous man, always there to help others with kind words and support. He was very active with the Boy Scouts of America. His two sons became Eagle Scouts through his guidance. Bruce was a devoted member of St. Andrews Catholic Church, attending mass weekly.
He was an avid fisherman who loved to hunt in his younger days, and loved the "Gators" and "Dolphins".
He had been an Estimator for Centerline Utilities in Palm City, FL. He was well known in his field.
Bruce could bring a smile to anyone, no matter where or who he spoke to. Everyone always had the kindest words to say about our beloved husband, father, son, brother, and uncle. He will be greatly missed. Our memories of Bruce will comfort us, as we know you have gone home to the lord and reunited with your father (deceased) Edward William Starr, Sr.
Bruce is survived by his loving wife Virginia of 35 years and his two loving sons Chase and Chad, beloved Mother Theresa Lillian Starr, who called her son "My Golden Boy", Brother Edward W. Starr wife Brenda, Sister Barbara Starr Wagner husband Alan, Sister Brenda Starr niece Kristen Ribero, and nephew Michael Ribero wife Annie & their two children, Sister Wanda Starr Campbell husband Rick and niece Chelsea Nicole Campbell, Sister Linda Starr Luong husband Tuan, Niece Lindsey Monet Mason Alvez husband Chris, Nieces Lan Chloe Luong, and Haile Lin Luong.
The service will be held at St. Andrews Catholic Church in Stuart, Florida - 11:00 am on Saturday August 20, 2016. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Boy Scouts of America.
