Obituary of Carl Liner
Lt. Col. Carl A. Liner, 95, of Palm City, FL passed away on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at Waters Edge Assisted Living Facility under the care of Hospice in Palm City, FL.
Born in Orchard, CO, he was a resident of Palm City for 11 years coming from California Maryland.
He received a Masters Business degree from the University of Colorado.
Before retiring he served in the United Sates Army for over 20 years attaining the rank of Lieutenant Colonel as a WW II veteran. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Palm City where he was a member of the choir. He was also a long time member of barber shop quartet music groups in Maryland and Florida.
Survivors include his nephew, John Liner and his wife Brenda of Palm City, FL nephew David Ness and his wife Barbara of Dardenne Prairie, MO and niece Linnea Grey and her husband Joe of Oak Grove, MN; numerous great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Iris Liner; sisters Violet and Ruth and a brother John.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 30, 2015 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Inturnment will be at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors.
