On September 25, 2022 Carlos Francisco Marin passed away following an extended illness at the age of 67.

Carlos was born on October 18,1955 in Havana, Cuba to Maria Del Carmen Hernandez and Hector Marin. Although having a rough childhood filled with kidney trouble and multiple hospitalizations, Carlos prevailed and set his mind on studying medicine. After graduating high school at Coral Gables High he attended Miami Dade College and eventually enrolled and graduated from medical school, Central Del Este in the Dominican Republic in 1981. He quickly obtained a residency in Anesthesiology at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ and graduated as an Anesthesiologist in 1984. He met his wife Jean Marin while in New Jersey and they married and moved to Florida to begin their life together and he began his 35 year career as an anesthesiologist .

Carlos enjoyed his profession and was a master at putting his patients at ease with his quick sense of humor and professionalism. Carlos also enjoyed vacationing with his family, especially taking his daughter to Disneyland. He enjoyed his beloved pet dogs and treated them as very special family members.

Carlos is survived by his spouse Jean Marin and mother Maria Marin. He was predeceased by his daughter Christina Marin, his father Hector Marin and his brothers Hector and William Marin. Carlos has many dear friends and extended family members who will always remember him, love him and miss him.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday October 6, 2022 at 9 AM at Forest Hills followed by a mass at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church at 11 AM.
