Celebration of Life for Carlos Hugh Morris

Carlos Hugh Morris was born on January 24, 1929 in Jamaica, West Indies to the proud parents of the late Edith Campbell and Cecile Morris.Carlos was educated in Jamaica, West Indies.

Carlos married Olive Samuels 42 years ago. Carlos had a passion for loving his family and he loves playing Dominoes. He enjoyed life, family and had a heart for giving and loving others. An important goal of his was to keep family together. He did this by telling stories about our family history. We look to him for wisdom and advice. He enjoyed spending time with his family, laughing, telling jokes and watching movies on the television.

On Thursday, January 27, 2022, surrounded by his devoted and loving wife, Olive, our beloved Carlos Morris transcended to life eternally with our Lord and Saviour.

He leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Olive Samuels-Morris; Sheronia Thompson (Otis Thompson) of Queens, NY, Winsome Nembhard of Port St. Lucie, Florida and Humphrey Campbell of Port St. Lucie, Florida; five sons, Lyndel Morris of Brampton, Canada, Cecile Morris and Martin Morris of Toronto, Canada, and Clive Morris and Simon Morris of Jamaica, West Indies; three daughters, Sharon Morris of Brampton, Canada, Miranda Morris of Colorado and Joan Morris, California; Grandchildren, Nathaniel Morris, Nassia Morris, Christopher Jarvis, Brandon Thompson, Tristian Thompson, Adrian Campbell, Brittany Davis (Julius Davis), Courtney Nembhard; a host of loving great-children, grandchildren, other family members and friends .
