Carmel Joan Passariello Schupka, 76, of Union New Jersey, passed away peacefully on November 21,2021 in the comforts of her home located in Port St Lucie, Florida. She was the wife of Robert Donald Schupka. They shared 51 years of marriage together.

Lovingly remembered by her daughter Denise Schupka, her son, Dan Schupka, her Daughter in law, Jaime Schupka, her granddaughter, Kendall Schupka and her grandson Jase Schupka. Carmel is also remembered by her loving woof pack, Fatch, Biscuit and Nugget.

Carmel retired from American Express, located in Plantation Florida, on April of 2015 after working for 33 years. She considered her American Express colleges as family.

Carmel spent much of her retirement doing what she loved, crafting. She created a beautiful craft room where she spent her time stamping, making beautiful greeting cards, holiday wreaths, sentimental Christmas ornaments and coloring. Carmel made every season/holiday special by decorating her whole house. She has a Christmas village of over 30 houses that she enjoyed setting up every year.

Carmel enjoyed spending quality time with her grandchildren and passed on her love for crafting to both Kendall and Jase. Carmel enjoyed baking and cooking, specially on the holidays.  Carmel enjoyed getting dirty in her patio. She enjoyed all things gardening and truly had a green thumb. Carmel has the most amazing orchids that bloom every year.

Carmel was caring, compassionate, thoughtful and kind. She loved giving to charities and adored all animals. Carmel truly made everything extra special in everything she did, whether it was making the family a meal, creating unique and personalized cards and just being her caring self. She was loved and cherished by many.
