Obituary of Carmela D'Augusta
Carmela R. D'Augusta, 77, of St. Lucie West, died March 7, 2014 at Martin Medical Center in Stuart. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and retired to Port St. Lucie, FL in 1998. Before retiring, she managed an oncology office in Brooklyn for 20 years. Prior to that, she worked for a medical group as a medical assistant and dictaphone typist.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Santo D'Augusta; sons, Dr. Thomas D'Augusta of Middletown, NJ and Dr. Richard D'Augusta of Segovia, Spain; daughter, Rosanne D'Augusta of Belle Harbor, NY; 9 grandchildren; brother, Vincent Capece of Tallahassee, FL; sister, Rosemarie Douglas of Pembroke Pines, FL and sister, Ann Buckley of Miramar, FL. She was preceded in death by her brother, Crescenzo Capece Jr and granddaughter, Kaylee Amelia D'Augusta.
Services to be held at St. Lucie Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 11:00am.
