Obituary of Carmen Rivera
Carmen O. Rivera, 65, died Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at St. Lucie Medical Center in Port St. Lucie.
Born in Puerto Rico, she has resided in Port St. Lucie since June 1996, coming from Camden, NJ.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Roman Catholic faith.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Juan Rivera, Sr. of Port St. Lucie; daughter, Cynthia Torres of Port St. Lucie; sons, Juan Rivera, Jr. of Stuart; Julio A. Rivera of Douglasville, GA; Vincent A. Rivera of Port St. Lucie; sisters, Sonia Rodriguez of Camden, NJ; Nilsa Ramos of Camden, NJ; Luz Ramirez of Sommerdale, NJ; and nine grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Angelita Ramos; her sisters, Theresa Ramos; Isabel Sanchez; and Rosa Soto.

Services: A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 6 PM to 8 PM, Friday, April 11, 2008 at Forest Hills Funeral Home in Palm City with Memorial services at 7 PM with Pastor Leslie Orozco, officiating. A video tribute will be presented during the gathering.
