Carol Ann Lindgren, age 77 passed away peacefully with her family on Saturday May 11 ^th 2019. She was born on January 9 ^th 1942 in Erie, Pennsylvania to Carl and Margaret Mayr. She was married to her best friend and love Robert Lindgren on March 21 ^st 1963.

Carol loved life and she liked to experience new places. She attended Academy High School in Erie PA and Thiel College in Greenville PA and received a degree in Education and German Language. She was a Sunday school teacher at St. Paul's Lutheran church in Erie over many years. She worked for Moore Research for over a decade and held a position at Northwest Lubricants in Fairview PA. She rarely was bored and enjoyed baking, crocheting, gardening and looking for beach glass and shells along the shore.

When she and her husband retired they split their time between Hobe Sound FL, North East PA and traveling the world.  She traveled to all 7 continents. Some of her trips included Kenya, Germany, Alaska, China, Egypt, Australia, the Panama Canal and the Antarctic. One of her favorite things was to enjoy the peace of a sunset no matter where she was in the world.

Carol is survived by her husband of 55 years, Robert and her two sons Michael and Gregory, their wives, her sister Janet Durst and grandson Jared.
