Obituary of Carol Zehfuss

Carol A. Zehfuss, died peacefully at home, March 4, 2012. Carol was born in Pittsburgh, PA and moved to Stuart, FL 19 years ago from Butler, PA. Carol was pre-deceased by her husband Lawrence T. Zehfuss (Larry) , who passed away in 2003. She is survived by her daughter Beth Zehfuss Ritz and her husband Jon, of New Canaan, CT (formerly of Pittsburgh, PA) her son Larry Zehfuss and his wife Darci of Denver, CO and her son Mark Zehfuss and his wife Carrie of Richmond, VA. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren: Erin, Kelly, Jake, Colleen, Tabitha, Holden, Emma, Chloe and Braeden as well as her ever-faithful canine companion, Willie. She is survived by her sister, Catherine Miller and her husband John of Pittsburgh, PA and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a member of Sailfish Point Golf Club and was active in several local charities. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Stuart, FL. Arrangements are being handled by Forest Hills Funeral Home. There will be no visitation. : A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on March 7, 2012 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. A reception for family and friends to celebrate Carol's life will be held at Sailfish Point following the funeral. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Hibiscus Children's Center, 2400 NE Dixie Highway, Jensen Beach, FL 34957
