February 2, 1941 to April 4, 2023


Carolyn was born in Ann Arbour, Michigan. She was the youngest Daughter born to Dr. Frank & Delphia Lamberson. The family moved to Bingham Court near Birmingham, Michigan later in her youth where she met her future Husband Thomas Donigan at her front door step. Carolyn spent a lot of time at her Grandparents' Farm in Livonia. The farmhouse and land now serves as a museum known as Greenmead Historical Park . Her Grandfather Sherwin Hill was an attorney who worked with Henry Ford in the early 1900s. Carolyn always said she had met Henry Ford on the farm when she was 6 or 7 years old.
Carolyn married Thomas Donigan in 1961 and had 3 Sons (Michael, Bryant and Dustin). Thomas died in 1974 leaving Carolyn a young widow with 3 boys and 3 businesses. She took the bull by the horns and navigated her way through the male dominated automotive industry as a manufacturer in the very competitive field of auto parts. She has several designs registered with the patent office.

In 1980, Deane MacMillan married Lindy in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. They built a company together called The Tiburon Corporation and launched their automobile sales representative careers. They eventually retired and moved to Florida in 2001 where they became very involved as volunteers and donors to the Florida Oceanographic Society. They both found their 'raison d'être' as philanthropists in the Stuart, Florida area reaching out to the Elliott Museum, the Lyric Theater, Volunteers in Medicine and the Cleveland Clinic just to name a few.
They loved to host parties and travel the world with their families. They made a point of giving the gift of international travel to their children and grandchildren. Deane recently passed away and now Carolyn has joined him in heaven.
