Cary Clayton Jones

October 24, 1937 – March 29, 2022

Cary Jones, age 84, passed peacefully in Jupiter, Florida on March 29, 2022 with his family by his side. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife Lee, his daughter Karen and his grandchildren Brianna and Kenny. He will be missed so much by his family and friends.

After graduating from Eastman High School in 1955, he went to Middle Georgia College for a year. Cary then served in the Air Force from 1956 -1960. After his service, he went on to complete his Bachelor's of Electrical Engineering at Auburn University and graduated in 1963. He received a job at Westinghouse Electric Corp. in New Jersey and worked there for 31 years until 1995. Cary went on to become the Owner of VFD Inc., an engineering consulting firm, for many years.

He was a long-time resident of Jupiter moving to Florida with his wife, Lee, after retirement in 2001. During his retirement, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

A mass service will be held at the Chapel at Saint Jude Catholic Church in Tequesta on Monday, April 4th at 10 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Saint Jude Catholic Church - https://stjudecatholicchurch.net/ways-to-give/ .  A luncheon will be held at The Woods following the service.  All are welcome to attend.
