Catherine Mary Geair (ne Murray), 62, of Palm City died on December 12, 2008.
Born on March 24, 1946 in New York City, she was the devoted wife of the late Harry F. Geair. She is survived by her daughter, Meg, and her husband, Karl Eifrig of Chicago, Illinois; son, Patrick Geair, and his partner, Christopher Opett of Palm City; brother, William Murray, his wife, Christine, their daughters Jennifer and Jessica of Holiday, Florida; brother, James Murray, his wife, Cecil, their children Margaux, Rani, and Sean of Hong Kong; brother-in-law, Andrew Geair, sister-in-law, Jacke Geair, their children, Kim Barclay of Craftsbury, Vermont, Jonathan and Christopher of Washington, D.C.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations honoring the life on Catherine Geair be sent to the House of Hope, 2482 Southeast Bonita Street, Stuart, Florida, 34997; the Loon Preservation, P..O. Box 604, Lee's Mills Road, Moultonborough, New Hampshire 03254; or Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 Southeast Indian Street, Stuart, Florida 34997. Arrangements are entrusted to Forest Hills Palm City Chapel.
