Catherine Keenan of Port Saint Lucie, Florida passed away September 20, 2022 peacefully at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center Hospice after a short bout with cancer. She was born on November 28, 1939, in Hurricane, West Virginia, she was predeased by her mother Ernie Johnson, Father Albert Oxley and brother Robert Johnson.
She retired from the Medical Profession where she served as a Surgical Technician at Nyack and Good Samaritan Hospital in New York State. She shared the last eighteen years of her retirement with her beloved best friend Joseph Logue and is survived by six children, Vicki Will , (David) Teresa Butcher, Martha Jayne Prell, Bennie R King Jr, Rebecca Anne Viggiano, (Robert) and Jennifer Leigh Keenan. Fourteen grandchildren, two great grandchildren, a loving sister Donna DeJesus and brother Arnold Johnson (Patricia).
Joe and Catherine enjoyed serving the Catholic Church together for many years and attending dances at the Knights of Columbus in Port Saint Lucie. Also spending many memorable vacations at Daytona Beach. She loved the beach, watching sports, sewing, gardening and watching movies after a long day of hard work in her yard. She loved the New England Patriots, Tampa Bay Buchaneers, The Yankees, and the Miami Marlins
A funeral viewing with be held at Forest Hills Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2001 SW Murphy Road, Palm City, FL 34990 followed by a Catholic Mass at 11 am at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1454 SW Mapp Rd, Palm City, FL 34990
