Catherine  L.  Landwehr (Cathy)

June 10, 1947 – June 10, 2022

Cathy passed away peacefully on June 10, 2022, her 75 ^th birthday, after a courageous battle with cancer.  She was surrounded by dear friends along with her beloved dog, Gypsy, by her side.

Although born in New Jersey, Cathy considered herself a true Floridian, having lived in Delray Beach for 40 years as well as other towns in the area.   In later years, she divided her time between Delray Beach and Palm City acting as her Mother's caregiver.

Cathy made many good friends during her long and varied career at IBM Boca Raton, and following that, at Office Depot Corporate Offices.   She enjoyed attending arts and crafts shows as well as holiday and other events, but her main pleasure in life was her love of animals and the time spent with her pets.   Many were rescues; all were blessed to have a home with her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Edward Landwehr, and many cherished dogs and cats.

Cathy was a member of Ascension Catholic Church in Boca Raton and attended Holy Redeemer Catholic Church when in Palm City.

SERVICES:  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 11am at Ascension Catholic Church, 7250 N Federal Highway, Boca Raton, Florida 33487.    Services will also be livestreamed on their YouTube channel, https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCDuHHObzkPdTQOD8EdgRPIg

Interment will follow at 2.00pm at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 2001 SW Murphy Rd, Palm City, FL 34990.
