Obituary of Catherine LeBlanc
Catherine J. LeBlanc, 88, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away on Friday, January 2, 2015 at her home.
Born in Grand Bay, Dominica, BWI, she had lived in Port St. Lucie for 10 years, prior to that she was a resident of Boca Raton for 12 years, coming to Florida from Bronx, NY.
Prior to retiring she was a nurse at St. Barnabas Hospital, Bronx, NY for 23 years. She also was an expert seamstress.
She was of a member of Grace Family Church, Port St. Lucie.
She is survived by her daughters Lindella Artman of Bayside, NY, Paulette Dressner of Toms River, NJ, Rosemary Chong of Boca Raton, Marvlyn LeBlanc-Hayes and Lisa LeBlanc Young, both of Port St. Lucie; sons Alexander LeBlanc of Port St. Lucie and Emmanuel LeBlanc of Cliffside Park, NJ; 26 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Constance who passed at the age of 3 months in 1952, and her husband of 61 years, Edmund A. LeBlanc in 2012.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Monday, January 26, 2015 at the Forest Hills Funeral Home, Palm City with a service at 1:00 PM.
